Overview
Ball, cylindrical roller and spherical roller thrust bearings for axial loads, from light pivots to heavy vertical shafts.
Thrust bearings are designed mainly for axial loads. A thrust ball bearing has a shaft washer, a housing washer and a ball and cage assembly. Single-direction designs (511, 512, 513) take axial load one way, and double-direction designs take it both ways.
For heavier duty, cylindrical roller thrust bearings (811, 812) give high axial stiffness, and spherical roller thrust bearings (292, 293, 294) carry very heavy axial loads with some radial load and misalignment.
