Overview
Line contact gives exceptional radial capacity and stiffness, with separable rings for easy mounting.
Cylindrical roller bearings use rollers guided between integral ribs on one ring. Line contact between rollers and raceways gives high radial load capacity and stiffness, and the separable design makes mounting and dismounting simple.
The rib arrangement sets how the bearing locates the shaft. NU and N types allow axial movement for non-locating positions, while NJ and NUP types locate the shaft in one or both directions.
