Overview
Long, slender rollers deliver high load capacity in the smallest cross-section, where space is tight.
Needle roller bearings use rollers that are small in diameter relative to their length. This gives a very low cross-section and high load capacity, which makes them ideal for compact designs.
Drawn cup needle bearings (HK, BK) press directly into a housing and can run on a hardened shaft, while machined-ring designs (NK, NA) suit heavier loads and higher precision.
